The Prevention Passport: a major reform for health and safety training
The Prevention passport is a public online platform deployed by the government.
Its objective? Centralize and track all occupational health and safety training (SST/HSE), whether they are monitored by an employee, a job seeker or a self-employed person.
Who is concerned?
All sectors of activity are concerned: industry, construction, construction, logistics, logistics, services, communities... Each employer must ensure that the OSH training of its employees is properly declared on time. Workers will be able to access their certificates via a personal space.
The courses concerned include in particular:
- Electrical authorizations.
- Occupational First Aid (OSH) training courses.
- Training in chemical risks, working at height, fire, etc.
Key deadlines and dates to remember
- September 1, 2025 : reporting obligation for training organizations (within 3 months after the training).
- 1st quarter 2026 : employers will have to check and validate the declarations. In case the organism forgets, they will have to do them themselves.
- End of 2026 : temporary tolerance for the massive import of training histories.
To go further you can consult the official decree here. Discover more on the Prevention Passport.
What are the risks in the event of non-compliance?
Any oversight or delay involves a risk of non-compliance. In the event of an accident or control, the company could face:
- Administrative sanctions.
- Litigation in connection with the failure to comply with the training obligation.
- A loss of trust among employees or social partners
